Im selling my 03 YZ250 for 3500. Its got the GYTR unbreakable levers. FMF factory pipe. Race Tech suspension. Works connection radiator braces. Renthal Fat Bar. I have a pic if you would liek to see it. You should have no problem with a 250 I weigh 145 and im 5'6 the yz250's have a great motor which is super smooth yet is fast.

Irwin:
You never mentioned that you were from Canada. What part of Canada?
If you are from the East, you had better start posting in English and French! You know the law!

I've never ridden the new 250F so I really don't know what I'm talking about in that department. I own an 06 YZ250 though, and it's one helluvamachine! Really, this is the lightest and quickest bike I have ever been on.
I am 5'11" as well and find the seat height challenging while in the paused position, otherwise, it's a nonissue.

You are experienced rider, yes. The 250 two stroke is the same weight as the 250f but with a lot more power, and it is usable power. Look at off-road results. All 250 two strokes. The newer rm, kx and yz are very good. I have the 04 RM250, and love it.

Hmmm, I'm 5'6" and only find the seat height to be a minor hassle on my '06 YZ-250. Its actually 37.5 where you sit; not the 39" they advertise.
Of course; all dirt bikes are tall to me :-)

the YZ250 should not be too much different from the YZ250F, it will have more power, and it should feel lighter, cuz i heard the 250Fs feel top heavy.Im 5,11 also , and my YZ250 is is just perfect. and the suspension on the YZ250 is set around 16o-180 pound riders. im from ontario also, where abouts in Ont u from?

Uhh....a 250 2 stroke is quieter than a 450 4 stroke buddy.
