which would give me more HP?

what would you guys recommend buying? which one would get me the most performance for my money? I kinda need a 2nd opinion.
I also did some searching and found out that due to me having a PC cannister: a pro circuit header will give me more performance vs a fmf megabomb header. although it doesnt look as nice, I think I will get one.
PC titanium header for 300$?
A fmf megabomb header for $200?
A pro circuit hot cam for $140?
spend 200$ on other upgrades?
it easy to install a hot cam?
I also overheard someone say that a hotcam and exhaust setup will add approx 11 more HP to the bike, is that true? what is a stock bike HP? what is james stewart 450s HP?
how much power does a cam add? whats the diff between the 3 stages of hotcams?
ps: I own a service manual now
thanks

The megabomb is gonna be your best bet, then the cam. Its not about how much hp, its about controlling what you got. Funny comeing from my ass huh? lol But im building a bike for hillclimbs and sand dunes, and for the hell of it. A 450 is to much for most people in any kinda tight terrian much less a hopped up one. The ti header, from what Iv heard, gets very brittle when hot and thats a very bad thing for riding in any kinda rocky wooded area.

MM it depends on what ur looking for. Where do u want the power?? Low end or up top?
Some pipe and silencer combo's give good increases across the board, but nothing major.
Cams will give u more pop in certain areas depending on the manufactures intent. Some only bottom and mid range and some nothing until WFO. I'm pretty sure if u look around Honda sells an HRC kit that comes with a midpipe, cam and jet kit. My buddy put one in his TRX450 Quad and he loves it.
certain angle valve jobs will give u a different power curve and enhance what u already have. Coupled with porting and polishing it makes nice power but can b pricey.
If u want generally more everywhere (God how can u want more from a 450?? ) then the best answer is go big bore. Athena makes the kits with everything u need to bump up the power. I don't suggest going too big tho as u will have a bike that can rip your arms off but maybe a bit slow revving.
Finnally I've read that ur putting mad hours on that bike, don't forget to keep checking ur valve lash, and keep the oil and air filter clean

ML: damn, I knew there was something I forgot to mention: I am looking to get more mid/top (more top than mid) end speed. the low end is already powerful enough.
am I going to need to adjust my jetting with the megabomb or PC header? I think I will go for the titanium PC header as it gives more performance, even though it doesnt look as nice. but it cant be any worse/weaker than stock, right?
I am eventually going to get all of those things you mentioned (big bore, high performance piston, valves, ported and polished). I am looking to make the most powerful bike one can possibly buy/make and I got 350$ in paypal that im just itching to spend on the bike, but im not sure what to get. it will def be online though because I can usually find a pretty good deal.
how do I check valve lash? my oil filter rarely gets cleaned but thats because its never dirty (I got a stainless steel one) I change my oils and wash the filter after every 2 hours riding time. weve got snow now so I think its about time to put the bike away for the winter, or at least add a bunch of upgrade parts to it for next summer
what is the difference between a stage 1 2 and 3 hot cam?
oh yes, and my throttle/clutch cables/cable housing should probably be changed, any suggestions
thanks a lot for all the help guys.

hmm, just found a PC stage 2 unused hot cam, he wants 140$, I offered 130$ shipped to canada.
now are these cams hard to install? am I going to need any special tools or knowledge? am I going to need to adjust my valves or anything compicated like that? am I going to need to buy something else so it fits properly?
