I have a delema, I ride a cr250 2 Stroke and would like to down size to a 250F. I am worried that I might weigh too much. I am 175lbs. Any imput on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

the bike is not to small for you dont worry i ride a crf 250 and it throws me off in some spots....i weight 170....i think the stock suspension is set for 180 pound rider. my brother has a cr250 and they both are fast but the 250f has much more usable power.deffinitaly not to big for one.

170 isn't too much. I thought you were going to say you were over 230 lbs or something! Hondahumper is right - the stock set up (for most bikes, actually) is 180. So you're just about right on the money.

Your fine, if you feel like you are too heavy just get heavier fork and shock springs. maybe even get a larger rear sproket, if you feel like the engine is not strong enough. but a 250f would be fine for you.
