Once again Big Bubba James won. That guy is a missle. Sticky Ricky got 2nd, and Dingo boy Reed got 3rd.

I figure that R.C is already starting to get Pe-Od about the situation after seeing how he stomped on Reed, cutting him off and stoping all motion during the race. I figure he figure that he wasnt going to get first so he made a show off it messing with the only other person in real points contention.

Well they put on a good show for the fans, and that's what us fans want. We want to see some battles going on, not someone taking off and leaving everyone behind.

Yes, I almost think Ricky is getting worried. Besides the "chump" block move he made several mistakes (going off the track for example) that he normally doesnt.
Chad stayed around 2 seconds behind Stewart for the first half until he got caught up with Ricky. Both Chad and Ricky eneded up about 6 seconds behind at the end and Chad was right on Ricky's tale.
I don't think RC is used to being beat and having to work for second even.
It would be funny next week for Chad to stuff Ricky off the track like McGrath did Stewart and then see how he likes it.

LMAO!
Well, one thing is for sure this year, Ricky is not walking away with the series! If he wins this year, he will have worked his butt-patch off to get the title!

If he gets 2nd place in all the races left in the series he wins the title anyways, so he's in pretty good shape even if he doesn't win.

Since he has showe some mistakes this year; I think its possible he could do worse than 2nd in a race. Once Windham gets back to speed he could throw a wrench in the works.
If Chad could get a 2nd (or first) and Stewart/Windham get in front of RC then it could come down to the Vegas race (that WOULD be a good race then).
Heck, way RC rode last week he might even throw himself out of the track again and get no points; that would really shake it up!

After seeing the incident in slow motion between RC and Chad, I'm not 100% sure that RC did that move intentionally, or it just happened. RC got squeezed coming into the turn and lost his line straight into the tuff blocks.
Bubba is really doing a great job on his starts, where RC has not been 100%. Number 7 is doing a much better job of controlling the bike than he has in the past. He's not falling down. That makes a big difference.
Off topic slightly, Nick Wey (27) is doing one hell of a job out there. I bet he's got a factory ride next season. Probably Honda because they really need somebody.

Im surprised by how aggresive R.C got with REED and even though I dont like seeing cheap shots I really injoyed the race. Im rooting for R.C or Reed and seeing Bubba getting away with an easy win really got me going and a little upset with seeing how slopily R.C raced and slowed himself and the Reed, but I understand what a points race is and how important it is to maintain points ratio's. I just wonder how R.C's team mate jumping out ahead of him off the start slowed his race and off centered his race stratagy. I dont know what happened but it really looked to me like the whole team issue caused a little extra friction during the race leading into the whole Detroit race ending with Bubba's clear and easy victory.

It was intential (IMHO). Other wise he would not have stopped dead and turned and looked at Reed. RC used to do this some years ago as a way to rattle the competition. He'd pass you, block you to a stop, give you the "evil stink eye" and then motor off.
I woudn't want to see him knocked down but would enjoy CR returning the favor.

I would love to see #22 take it to RC. Ricky is reverting to his old ways. As much fun as it would be to see Reed take him wide like MC or stuff him in return for what Ricky did to him, but it will never happen at least the getting even part because Chad doesn't race that way. He is a clean racer unlike #4 and #7. So bring it home on Saturday Reed take the #1 spot. Chad is in Ricky's head and he knows it.
