Hmm. Is there where I can say I told you. jk. You can not reuse fouled spark plugs. Once it fouls you need to toss it.

You said the shop did a leakdown test so your crank seals are good. So now its either jetting or your spark. Take the old spark plug out. Put a brand new spark plug in the spark plug cap. Put the threads of the spark plug on the head. Kick the kickstarter. The spark plug should give you a bright blue spark, a weak or white/yellow spark is bad. If your spark is good then its almost certainly your jetting.

I m with elko and I really think you need to start focusing on your jetting. Pull the carb and get that thing back to stock and take it from there. It sounds crazy that they only had to change the oil and clean the air filtyer for the thing to start. New spark plug, re jet, and if it does not work then buy a yamaha

I agree. Its just that jetting is off. I would take up on that shops offer to rebuild it and get the jetting set correctly.

If you know what you're doing. But you need to have the top end rebuilt first.
