um either its trying to seize or there is somthing geting in the way of the piston. you shouldnt have to *** foot around with the kick start you should be able to jump on it & have the motor spin over. did you fix the hole in the radiator???

ohhh crap you rode it with a hole in the rad!!!? you probably over heated it & the bottom end bearings are siezing that would be my guess

how much experence do u have with engines and do u think ure gonna have to the knowledge to do a top and bottom end ure top maby still good i think u should take it to the shop and see wat they say

i know how to do a top end i did plenty of them now bottom end thats a *** joke and wat do you think is bad or going bad

it was full on radiator fluid its a size of a pencil lead hole leaks about 2-3 times a week

ohh i thought you ment a hole hole not a pin hole get it fixed are you sure it didnt run out of coolant while you were ridding it? im sure it spurts it out when its running

well i think ure bottom end could be going out also this was a raced bike ure seal well the top could be good but if seals and stuff arnt working then ull get probelms

i stick with bottom end cause you have to dink with the kick start to get it to kick over

thats also true ure crank bearing are probly out are gonna be out soon i reccomend u stop and do that soon since when my bottom end went out it messed up my top with shavings

ok thanks for the info but could it be a seal because someone told me it could be that also and wat about the pitch black oil that drips from the expansion chamber connects to the silencer

k you could probably just replace the seal butt youll get a couple hours on it & totally lock up your motor most likely. soo its up to you. the oil is either because the guy lied about the top end & it is worn or the your jetting is wayyyyy off

i am deffinatly doing the crank bearings but wat im asking do you recommend doing the seals and wat about the crank its self and the rod and someone else said the issue with the kick starter could be the kick start gear??? I APPRECIATE YOUR HELP IM NEW TO TWO STROKES

umm yes!! you have to replace all the seals whe you take crank out or your wating your time because if those seals fail your gonna toast your crank so its up to you & you used ether so they are probably toast any way just replace them & decarb your pv & you might as well rebuild the top end with new rings & check your cylinder run out & ring end gap. ohh & get the dang rad fixed!
& a manual oh & welcome to the board
youll also need a crank puller & a fly wheel puller & a bearing installer i believe
