Sanders think before you type. We are not talking anything about racing. The newer engines run higher compression engines. So when you take the comp test it needs to have a higher psi.

Dude choose who you want to listen to. But when your rebuilding your top end after your next ride you will know who you should have listened to.

Please explain how hes going to blow a seal. If he blows a seal then that would be obvious that it needs replaced.

umm let see ether eats gaskets this is a known fact soo his gasket is in a compromised postion if you pump that sucker up to 6psi i bet you a dollar that that motor doesnt hold 6psi for atleast 6 minuetes. your going to be able to tell if you blow a gasket cause well the gasket is whats holding the 6 psi in the crank & when you blow a hole in it what happens??????????? if you cant guess go put your leak down tester on your bike & ump it up & stab a hole in the cranks gasket! its going to hiss & the leak down testers needle will be at zero in seconds

Ok so since you have just found this godly wisdon of yours. What do you expect the gaskets are going to do when hes riding the bike?

So why shouldn't he do the leak down test. You are suggesting he go ride the bike although the gaskets are going to blow and ruin his whole engine? Cause if the leakdown test shows the gaskets are bad then what does he do? He changes them and his engine isn't wrecked. If the gaskets pass the leakdown test then what does he do? He goes and rides without any problems.

BTW if you knew what you were talking about then you would know a motor is electrically powered. And what you mean is an engine, an engine transfers energy through a combustion. Hence in an internal combustion engine.

you two need to take this elsewhere.  The poor kid needs help and you're making him more confused.

i'm sorry tyler...if i knew how to help you I would, but I don't....I think your best bet is to post another similar thread so that more people will post on it and look at it since it will be new.
