I think u have been listening to the lap times of the last two Pro races. Anihiem and Pheonix.

How much faster has the 250f's been over the 450's??

I really didn't pay too much attention to the first race, but in Phoenix I thought that they were at least 1.5 sec faster.

was it the same in the first race or was it just because Phoenix was a tighter course??

With the new AMA rule changes, u can ride 250 2 strokes and 250 4 strokes in the premier class, yet nobody has yet.

Can u  help with this, cuz i wanna know if the 250f's have been faster on average or just on a couple of laps.

or maybe i'm just having flashbacks from when i use to eat those tasty paint chips off of Auntie Ellens back porch. lol

Its the paint chips Masterlink.
A1 reed & Stewy ran 59 sec 250s ran 1.01 and phenix was similar.
You can view the laptimes at www.amasupercross.com and click on the laps to compare em.  With a 450 you can build more speed faster outta the corners to clear the big jumps where a 250 has to be pinned all the way to the lip with no hesitation.
  Pass the chips(paint)............

When you get past the top 3 the times are very close. I had no idea.    But that is a supercross track which is tight and woopy.  I wounder how they compare at the outdoor nationals?

well it was only have of the paint chips. In Pheonix, the fastest lites times in the main were equal to more than 3/4's of the 450 class.  as a matter of fact the these times are just a tick away at Phoenix.
Granted its top riders of the 250f's shown here with #'s 3 and 4 of the 450's
but u can't rule out how close the lites r to competing with the 450's.

u really can't count Stewart and Reed as these guys i believe lapped up in to the top 10 or more against there own kind.

Here is where I got the list ML. Just a little artical about lap time at Phoenix.

I am really surprised at how close they are myself. I would love to see someone ride a 250t in the lites class to see where they stand!
