I bought a set of pro taper bars for my cr right after I bought it. only place open only had kx high bend. I hate them and just put on a set of renthal emig bend that my brother in law gave me. my question is this. we can't remember if these bars have ever been bent. they are as strait as any new ones from everything I can see. i know that the metal is weakend on bent bars when you straiten them, will they break?? also, is there some way to measure for a set of bars for your body size and build??  

Its gonna be hard to bend pro-tapers if that is what you are trying to do. Are you trying to bend the bars yourself? You might want to just buy new ones becuase you might not get the bars even on both sides. Try to get rid of your old bars on ebay if you cant find someone to give them to. Either that, or now you have an extra set of bars.
