Has anyone use the Quick Shot on a Honda crf250r ? and if so, what did you think about it?  

I think it works great. As soon as i put it on i got instant throttle response. It help eliminate hesitation and bog in 3rd and 4th gear. You can keep it in 3rd and fether the clutch going into turns better with the quickshot.

I dont want to go to far off subject but I am also considering the boyesen unit for my crf250r due to third gear bog. I just want to know what is considered excesive. I know that with my bike if Im off idle and twist the throttle hard it will bog and burble so badly that I let off the throttle to prevent what sounds like near stall conditions. I have never let it go instead I realise throttle stab it into second and twist again with no problem accelerating. I have only had it happen on two occasions but does this sound like the normal honda bog. I just want to add Im at sea level which is factory set and all other carb positions checked and are correct for conditions and temps.

         

What year is your crf250r, i no that with the models that are 04 and lower have that bog bad in 3rd gear coming up a hill swithing into 3rd they will allways bog. If you are going slow in any gear you will bog. Are you gust saying in 3rg you get the bog. the quick shot helps alot in the higher gears. I would look into an after markit air fillter to if you dont all redy have one. A good clean air fillter helps with good acceleration and less bog.  

My CRF is the 05 model. I want to rule out dirty air filter becouse my bike is very well maintained from end to end, I am a mechanic and take very good care to maintain and lube all parts and assemblies. I am familier with the bog from using to high of a gear, and it isnt the same.
