Honda dropped the 500cr in 2001. However, you can still buy a 2007 Honda 500AF from Service Honda.

I know goon said it but yup 01 was last year for honda then service honda took over

So when service honda took it over, What changes were made, And is it still the Power house 2 stroke that it used to be?

Oh yea! Power house indeed. They cram those engines in a 250 aluminum frame and wow! They will climb anything! I rode with a guy in Nevada last January who had one he only rode it the one day we were around a lot of climbing hills.

Yeah, There MONSTERS! I rode a KX500, And a CR500R. ALL when i was a kid, And was wondering if it would be cool to get one, (USED) just to have and scare the crap out of myself ones in awhile, IF i can get one cheap in good condition. Keep in mind when i say (RIDE) i Was on the BACK of the KX! And i did Ride the CR for about 2 min...Then i just tipped it over.LOL. Never got out of 2nd. NOW.. I think i could get it into 3rd!!!!
