Request denied.

KTMTalk is not banned, and if they do participate in the event it will be expected that all members of the dirtrider.com team be gracious hosts to them.

So what your saying is that they automatically get in do to the size of there membership where we had to plead to be apart of this they can be dictators who censor and ban members and yet be allowed to participate. Kind of like allowing Adolf Hitler to attend the Olympics huh?

They do not automatically get in.  There is only one team invited so far, and that's us.

Pleading will not get anyone anywhere.  Ideas get teams invited.  The charity idea got us invited.  That and me hiding Jimmy's keys so he couldn't go home until he invited us.

Come on, Super, please take the negativity out of this. If any company interested in being involved with our bike comes in here and sees all this BS flying around, it is likely to turn them off. References to Hitler tend to do that to people. Just concentrate on our own effort and leave the rest to fall as it may. If anyone has a reason to hold a grudge against KTMTalk, trust me, it is I. But I won't let that get in the way of having a good time for a good cause with this project. If we have anything to prove to them or any other forum, let's do it with our bike at the event. OK?

It is common knowledge among websters that the % of signed users and active are roughly 10% active.  Out of that active the amount shown depending on how much content there would be about 1/3 to 1/4 of hits per day bots such as google, msn, yahoo and so on

So it basicly breaks down to about 1 out of 10 registered users are active.

All sites are the same including this one, however back to KTMCensured Talk, if you dont suck up topat and be one of his maidens your out

I do not know pat not a member either anymore, seems I spoke out about someting and suddenly my whole life is shunned and I am banished to the internet waste lands

Cyclewriter, go ahead and say what you will, hasnt stopped you before or are you getting wiser and figuring out your owned too

I speak my mind and no one owns me. That said, this project is supposedly going to raise money for a charity. I can put my personal feelings aside in order that there be a quality attempt at making this very worthwhile project go off without too many hitches. So, for the last time, can we focus on our own task at hand and leave all the petty bitching for later? Thank you.

Whoever you are (and I sincerely hope you're not Pat) please do not come over here and instigate problems. Whatever Super's beef with other websites, if you want to address it do so on your OWN site. Even if Super is an a-hole, he's OUR a-hole and this website is where we can express ourselves without fear of censorship or being banned. If you want to debate with Super or anyone else about the merits of his beef, I suggest you give him back his posting rights on your other website and have at it. Otherwise, in our house you don't speak ill of the hosts. We do a fine job of fighting amongst ourselves. We don't need anyone else's help at it. Thank you.

The difference is that in here you can speak freely without fear of being banned or censored. Until KTMTalk is willing to play by the same rules, your grousing in here about our members is unwelcome. I suggest that if your only reason for being in this forum is to cause trouble, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

And for the record, I may have posted the challenge on KTMTalk, but you and your members started the ####. Please do not use THIS forum to further your vendetta against me, Pat. You shouldn't be doing in here what you won't tolerate on your own site. Thank you.

what I posted was this:

"So My friends said you people were not wanting to be a part of the 24-hour torture test of Dirtriders? Whats up with that? All you had to do is request to be apart of it. But most of you act like children. I was against your site being invited because of the way you people act. Now the shout out thread here was deleted!
I would like to thank you all for proving me right. You dont deserve a invite to this upcomeing event. We do not need immature people apart of this.

Thank you for your time thanks for not playing and have a nice day."

I do not see any thing in my post about the host. so here is yet another lie youve told and been caught in.
I would like to thank you for yet again proving your forum is not worthy of participating in this event.

OK, I can't stand this unmitigated *** any more!

I promised Pete that I had posted my last post here; but like watching a car wreck on the other side of the freeway, I keep coming back to look......... and stupidly I keep hoping this might sort itself out,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Has any one noticed the deafening silence here from the other web forums? There are forums with HUGE memberships that have produced............... BIKES TO COMPETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the I-Bike build off. Do you REALLY think they haven't explored this thread? Do you think that ALL of these sites have some sort of conspiracy thing going on? Do we all stick pins in Jimmy Lewis dolls?

Well, MAYBE we do, but that's besides the point...........

Has anyone wondered why? Look at the interest drawn by the "I-Bike Shootout"? How many extra copies of DR did that sell?

Noticed Jimmy's post about the other forums? Other folks that filled his inbox with requests that they would like to be invited next time? Well, where are they now?

Cyclewriter came over to KTMTalk with the best intentions, but it blew up in ALL of our faces! Maybe it's because of how much we believe in our sport.............our chosen forums.............our brand of bike..........the kind of riding we do...........

I took a couple of the things he said personally, but probably out of context, and would like to publicly apologize for my replies. I am truly sorry for what I said if it brought us to this!

But..............

Continually knocking KTMTalk or any other site is counterproductive. Being the ONLY other site invited will be a hollow victory at best. Your idea of a charity involvement is to be applauded, but if it's at the cost of every other forum on the net, it's still a hollow victory! We all need to stick together in this! We are "dividing and conquering" ourselves! Print media is not the enemy, but neither are web forums...................

How about going back to each and every site you know of, and challenging them, inviting them, and yes, even daring them to do better than you have so far, and enter this challenge? CHALLANGE THEM MAN TO MAN, don't insult them. Make them step up!

Pi$$ing match to pi$$ing match to meet you. or better yet, if they think they can, beat you! RAISE SOME MONEY FOR A GOOD CAUSE!

Further our sport! Earn bragging rights! Sell magazines or boost your sites' membership!

Challenge them to come up with an idea that matches or bettors your idea of generating funds to fight Diabetes. Call out each and every site you go to beat you man to man! BUT DON'T INSULT THEM!

Ask them if you got the bats, you got the gloves, do they got the balls to play?

This is Supertrunk from KTMTalk,( terry_erwin@ccsn.edu  throwing down the glove, to step up, be a man. and get EVERYONE you can think of involved in this! Let's show them all that the internet forums are a viable media. Let's show everyone that we still read. For God's sake let's teach our kids what a book or magazine can do for them! Let's prove that we are man enough (and woman enough) to respect each other and work together!

OK, OK, I'll put my soapbox away, sit down, and shut up. But Jimmy had a good idea here; let's not ruin it over petty personalities and jealousies here............

Seriously I got banned for pointing out how childish your members where acting hoping to get them involved you need to take the chance and sway them to play and take the risk of banishment my self Im done with KTMTalk I do not like people who censor and ban members for posting their opinions. Petes left the door open for your forum I suggest you act on it and get your forum involved

I thank you and I accept your apology. Now take your new-found powers of reason and go convince your compatriots to join us in this exercise. I believe that most differences between people can be resolved in the presence of dirt and motorcycles.

Hey Pat the lesson you can learn here is that its ok to not ban people for being vocal, I am the extreme to make a point and you followed it to the T

Worry about your own house Pat and learn to be a little less of a #### to those who helped you get to where you are now or have you forgot that like Bryan Bosch.  Its all about Money isnt it

Putz, you can not even come clean with a return reply but by cutting and pasting.  It must feel good Pat that you can challange others on a forum like this with out being banned

You should learn that lesson hypocrit you would gain more respect, me I dont care one way or the other, I know what I am and sleep well at night, and I wont return to your site for any reason you petty little man
