have you ever ridden before?
If the answer is no, then neither of those are a good beginner bike, they are both fast, and probably too much bike for a beginner.
If the answer is yes then it just depends on what you feel you can handle. The 450's are powerfull bikes, but if you know how to ride it won't be an issue.

any one can jump on a bike and ride it. But the question is, can you really ride the bike when it comes to the technical, tight, and nasty stuff? Like Pokerface said, if you've never been riding, you should maybe look at another bike. If you are new to riding, I would advise you to not bite off more "bike" than you can chew. Progress your way up the ladder instead of jumping to the top. Learn the basic skills on an easy bike, and then transfer your abilities over, in turn making you a better rider. If you were to hop on a WR450F right now, I doubt that you are going to be able to ride the bike even close to it's potential. If you were to get into some nasty trails, you would be in a world a hurt and probably get yourself into a big mess becuase you have't mastered the basic skills. You would be relying on the bike instead of your knowledge and you would be bound to make a mistake. You have probably had your eye on that WR450 for a while and it may seem hard to let it go, but I think it would be a wise decision if you were to start off on a bike that is more suited to your needs at first and then get a WR450.
