Not really. You never know about the bike.

I wouldn't buy a bike without test riding it let alone not even being able to look it over.

Ebay is a great resource for finding things that are rare, such as vintage motorcycle parts. There are a lot of Motorcycle Dealers who sell brand new bikes on Ebay, so you really can't say that every bike on Ebay is a junker! If you do buy a bike on Ebay, just bid accordingly. A wise man once said, "STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES!"

we haven't bought any- but sold a couple!! you got to be careful with ebay- tons of scammers out there!
we go to a "we sell it 4 you" company (usually pack and ship places) that do the ebay thing and handles the details + the responsabilty if scammers try to get you!
