Hey secondstring, I was wondering if you have any awesome pictures of you racing? That would be cool to see some. Last time you posted pictures, your KX was in two. lol.

I was wondering what ever did happen to your KX?  Did you ever fix it and how much did it cost?  Is that a common occurance on bikes?  Ive always wondered if that can happen, especially with my weight, 300lbs.  Seems like there is an awful lot of force in that area.  Miss your posts man.

Thats not Secondstring. lol. Nice try. But I bet Secondstring does look that fast. But I think he has shift gear if I can remember correctly. And the pic says that its from Racer X.

Ya lol. =)

You never know. He may have changed it or Racer X saw him riding his YZ250 and they thought to themselves, "Dang that dude is crazy fast." And then they asked him if they would ride one of their test bikes becuase he was faster and got better shots than their own test rider.

Sorry I haven't been on much.  I usually only check the boards when I'm at work.  My KX actually didn't end up being as bad as I thought it was at first.  The rear shock bolt broke, which pushed the shock through the subframe.  All I needed was some new plastic, an AC Racing subframe, and a rear shock bolt and bearing and my KX is as good as new.  I'm actually going to be selling it pretty soon because I haven't ridden it in awhile.

You guys are funny!  I wish I was in Racer X!  I'll see if I can dig up some recent pictures.  I don't really have that many pictures to be honest.  I'll see if I can find any.

Griz, that was only a problem on the 99-02 KX250's.  The local Kawi dealer told me the orginal bolt's for those years where a weak cast and that was actually a common problem.  The new bolts are grade-8 steel.
