I know Carb Jetts are all classified by a number, for example Main Jet 50 or Main Jet 48. What does this number represent. Is it a form of measurement or just a model number?

Yea, does that mean the smaller the number the smaller the inner diameter. And would that lean the bike out or rich it.

They are reffering to the diameter of the opening for the feul to pass. A larger diameter means more fuel, or richer jetting so to speak.
