So i was looking at the sidewinder sprockets and they are expencive. They say their Titanium II Sprocket will not wear out and that it is garenteed for life. Is this true??? If that is the case I will gladly pay $170 for a rear sprocket.

RidingTheRockies: So ML would you recommend a steel or aluminum sprocket? I will do some Hare Scrables this year but I not a serios races MX wise. My bike eats up aluminum sprocket and wondering if a steel one would last much longer? I don't think the weight of the steel is a factor for me. I usually buy Renthal.
Rocky i used u use aluminum Renthals and cheap chains( duh, i'm an idiot).
but now cuz of lack o money I've been buying cheap steel sprockets from Tusk at Rockymountain .
For one these sprockets r super cheap $20 -25.00. its a great way to experiment with gearing without supending tons of doe.
But they r heavy. and u may ( i don't because I don't feel subtle changes)notice the difference in weight when u jump or if ur super fast in the corners it may give more effect there.
