Have you seen those promoto billet end caps? I put one on my 450. They say USFS aproved on them. Doesn't help with sound. Way cheaper then a muffler. Can take a pic if you'd like to see what one looks like?

The end caps work great if you rivit them on tight. Had to re-rivit mine drilled the holes slightly larger then needed for the rivit I was using. The vibration sheared the rivits off because of slight slop in the rivit hole. Re did mine and no problem. They are pretty easy to do.

I thought they screwed on so you can change the screen.

No, the end cap is in two peices (3 w/screen). Basically an end cap and a plate. The screen is inserted between the plate and cap. The screws hold the plate to the cap and make replacing or cleaning the screens easy. They also add some color to the end of the muffler. I like the green cap I have.

Pop thought I'd show you what the peices looked like.

These are the rivits I had to drill out then re-rivit back.

Here are the three allen screws to remove screen.

These are the three peices, comes apart in less then a min.

This is whats important!

Thanks for the pics rock. That is the one I was looking at but didn't realize ya had to rivet it on. No problem, I got all the tools. Dose it effect the performance at all?

Some here say if you spend that much on a end cap you might as well get a slip on. What do you think?

Yeah sanders, I got the Zeta shift and break levers and was looking at the Zeta hand guards.
