Mitkov; post your votes up in Pete Peterson's post-only thread for it to count.  Thats the one DR is paying attention to

Hope that link works!

By the way; interesting (good) choices!!

To clarify Rich Diaz has 8 votes with no apposing runner in the election . Here are the members who voted and who they voted for.

The dirtrider forum facing a lack of part participation and now their captain  Rick Diaz AKA cyclewriter2 antagonizing KTMtalk  to the point that they have now with drawn their support of free video webcast of the event.  Well they be able to get support for their team? Who well they find to donate any bike let along one they voted for?
There are 112 days tell the event with luck Jimmy Lewis well not pull the plug on the Forums Participation in the 24-hour torture test.

And I suppose that last post was meant as a simple vote recap and not in any way to antagonize, belittle or insult me and/or the DR.com effort. You're as transparent in your motivations as a clean sheet of glass.

Up on looking in to reconstructing the bridge Rick Diaz burned at KTMtalk and seems to be fanning the smoldering ambers.

It appears to me that the only way to bring back the  KTMtalks support would be If dirtrider members vote Rick Diaz out, or if Rick Diaz is not selected to be Team Captain, or is not involved in any way with the event, then KTMtalk Might reconsider coming to the event and provide a free video webcast.

So there you have it 8 members voted for Rick Diaz out of all the members at dirtrider.com. If he remains the captain all the other teams well lose out on the support of KTMtalks free video webcast.

The members of the dirtrider forum need to participate in the Voting Other then a few core members. This is only one bridge out of countless ones burned by Rick Diaz the 24-hour torture test event is now suffering for it!

Its not fair to the other teams involved losing support because of one member.

Seriously the charities are whats important here this petty conflict is damaging a great cause and your support is needed.

I stand by my vote of SOV (Some Old Vet) as ride captain and Cyclewriter as build captain.  Other members can vote as they wish.

I am truly shocked at this blatant blackmail attempt.  The 24 hour would likely be better off without KTMTalk at all if they are party to this type of trickery.

I won't speak for any other members; thats their business, but I find this highly unethical.

This is the Dirt Rider site; not KTMTalk.  What happened there (I don't know; it apparently was deleted??) is not of concern here.

Super; did you think you would then be elected to captain the project after all thats been happening here??

I have not nominated my self for the captaincy or requested to be on the team I have plans of my own for the 24-hour torture test event that excludes me from offering my leadership or Participation in the dirtrider forum bike build.

The person you  pick for the captaincy in harming the event and it is not fair to the other teams. This is about charity not selfish self serving advancement at the cost of others. If this is the behavior that the dirtrider team is going to display then maybe their team should be excluded from the event so more teams that are interested in advancing their charities  and those of the other teams can participate.

Super, you are the most pathetic excuse for a human being I have ever seen. You begat this shltstorm because you didn't want to be told that you were out of control and now you want everybody to think that you did all these attacks against me out of some concern for the charity or the perception of DR.com. You really are psycho if you believe your BS. If, as you say, you are not interested in being involved with the DR effort and you have something else in the works, why such interest in what goes on here? Go away and do your own thing and STFU. What you and Pat are engaging in is willfull and deliberate and far beyond me having a disagreement of opinion with others in different forums. If I am a poor choice for the project, what do you care? Won't that make you look all the better? Not hardly. You've started thread after thread with nothing more than to try and discredit me. How does THAT help the forum? Why Pete hasn't banned you is beyond me. If you care so much about this forum, go away and stop perpetuating all this silly BS.

Two bikes take the lead and with no new participants in the build it looks as though the builds lost most members interest.

There are still 3 spots open for other forums your participation is needed. Spread the word ask your friends/ forum members if they wish to be a part of the 24-hour torture test. We need to get as many as possible with worthy causes and charities so Jimmy Lewis well do this again next time!

SOV has request a deadline to the voting hes posted the 13 of November stating its a Friday how ever the 13 of November falls on a Monday. The 13 of October falls on a Friday so most likely he meant the 13 of October.

I checked; I don't see any invite from JLewis; nor do I see a post by you on the CORRECT thread to state WHY you should be invited.

Remember; your ignornace of that original request started this whole mess!

Are you planning to show up and disrupt the whole 24 Hr?  That will make good reading I am sure in DR.

I doubt anyone of importance would want to be assoiciated with all the negative publicity you have surrounded yourself with (unless they want to also become an outcast...)

There has yet been an official word back on the question  “Is the event open to the public as spectators? Can forum members show up at the event and be on the course /in the pits taking photos of the team during the event?” hopefully Pete did not forget and that we well soon get a official answer so some of the members and participants can make plans to attend the event.
