Hi RidingTheRockies,
How much money did that camera cost and what brand/code is it.
Thanks for putting the pics on there, it help show how it fits on and how bulky it would be.

Junkie, first I have never spoken to you, so WELCOME to DR!
Here are some of the cost for these helmet cams. Rocks and Pauls - $180 MJP - $150 Daggit - on sale less the $100
There were 3 or 4 different one posted in this thread. MJ and Daggit posted pics of theirs as well as some vids from the cams to show their quality. Mine is the Tachyon XC. In my first post It has all the details in there as far as specs and price go along with everything that was included.

Here's my first official ride with the camera, I need to point it to the right, because it looks off to the left (compensates for no vision in that eye) too much, the level is a little bit higher (and better) than my practice run up the driveway video (don't forget to click high quality)

My friend Rob tells me he would like to see the camera higher, so he can see a rider that is 150 feet in front of me, I'm hoping this new angle will do that. As you can see it is mostly trial and error. I also tilted my camera slightly to the right, to compensate for my tendency to look to the left. By the way, the duct tape held up just fine. Don't forget I still used the velcro mounting base and velcro pad.

another reletively cheap helmet cam for u is the hero go pro cam they start at like $159 for the standard lens and $189 for the 170 degree wide lens i just bought the motorsports wide package and i have only used it on my street bike so far and it rocks it had hi/lo recording options, upside down or right side up recording options, photo burst, can use as a still camera too takes 5 mega pixel still pictures, can only be expanded to a 2gig memory card which is lame but i dont take long ass videos myself anyways i comes with a wide variety of mounts and u can buy other mounts seperate for almost anything u can think of.. no joke... its also waterprof to 100ft i highly suggest this cam also as another choice if u have any other questions ask away!

another nice thing that helps is the hero cam has a viewfinder like a normal camera its very small but helps with aiming the wide lens almost gets everything in the picture anyways though

I like Rocky's head video. I like how it gives you a first person perspective on the trail. And I also like his little track he has going to.

After uploading vids on YouTube and posting here, I didn't like the quality very well, so I opened an account at vimeo.com and I like their quality better. Here is my latest helmet cam video from last weekend's ride, via vimeo: video
