I just say with my own eyes the new YZ250F's and they look so awesome!  My favorite dealership just got one as a promo and I want one bad.  I'm curious to see how the new fork handles, but it looks awesome with the new frame.

So you're ready to switch to a 250F? (You currently ride a YZ250, right?) I was surprised to see Yamaha made the change to the new fork. Last year's new suspension with the aluminum frame (on the two-strokes) seemed to be such a success, but they've done away with the KYB AOS fork after only one year.

What do you think the speed-sensitive damping will feel like? I've heard it's weird... like it's too mushy at low speeds.

Yeah, I have an 05' YZ250 currently.  I'll probably wait for the 07' models before I go with the YZ250F.  I really like those bikes.  I'm a little worried about the new forks though.  The dual bladder Kayaba's I have on my YZ are great, especially after I had then revalved.  I don't know why they would try to make their own fork.
