I think the European companies in general are starting to make a comeback. Husky, Husaberg and Gas Gas all have amazing bikes out right now and people are just starting to realize it. We've been so conditioned to think that if it's not Japanese, it must be a pile, but once you ride one of these newer bikes, you'll be amazed. I know I was. I rode the Gas Gas 300 EC and fell in love with it. I've been riding it all year. Not only is it awesome, but it's solid! The only thing that's broken on it (besides the front fender... oops) is the silencer, and that's aftermarket (FMF).

I have a 04 husky 125, i bought it because they were on sale for 3800 out the door. The quality of the parts is great, just nicr little this and that to the *** bikes. The performance is impressive, nice balanced handeling and good power plus the best brakes ive felt ( brembos ). 4 months into owning it, no problems ( knock on wood ) but i do baby the bike alot. As long as you have good dealer support, I'd say getting a husky isn't a bad idea, but overall your probably better with a *** bike. As far as other euro bikes, ive read some good reviews on them.
