Pray for Jermey Lusk

Everyone please pray for Jeremy Lusk.
He's had a massive crash in Costa Rica @ X-Knights February 8th! and he's in a really bad condition.
Please keep him and his family in your prayersHe made it through the surgery
-They had to drain a hematoma from the skull.
-He has an enlarged brain so they could not close his skull back up, they have to wait for swelling to go down.
-The next 24 hours is critical, so please keep praying, He did get a fever but they are controlling that.
- It has been about 7 hours since the surgery
-They are not even attempting to work on anything else right now, the most important thing is to get him stabilized.
- His Wife Lauren is with him.

thanks socali. i saw a vid on you tube of it but thought it was old i will see if i can find it & link it on here so people can see the severity.
it made degans crash look like nothing imo

I hope he gets better.
I remember playin a ps2 game called MX2002 Featuring Ricky Carmichael and I always picked Lusk as my rider. He was always my favorite.

Watching that my only thought was 'Thank goodness he ain't dead!' That was a truely horrific crash. My prayers will be for him.

ya that looked bad, really bad. i hope he makes it through this & comes back out fighting. im sure his back was injured severly if not broken

That crash was real bad. His spine bent and im sure there will be some back problems. Do you guys think the leatt brace would have helped a lil with the back bending the way his did? I noticed some fmx riders wearing them but im not sure if it would have helped in his situation. Hopefully he pulls through this surgery so they can help him with the other injuries he sustained.

It looked like his neck really whipped, I think it would have helped but who knows.
