i know dirt bikes are all opinionated..but i own a cr125 and ive been riding it for 3 years ..and just yesterday i hopped on the 03' crf450 and it was so incredibly smooth..the center of gravity was perfect the powerband was so smooth..i dont understand why anyone would want a 250f when the crf450 is so incredibly smooth..and i only was riding for 5 minutes and i was hooked..and im buying one asap!!

The answer to your question is 1000. That is 1000 dollars, now that might not sound like alot to you but to those who are working HARD for that money that could be alot of nice upgrades to their 250f's. I dont want to be a smart ars here but 250f's are the modern 125's and produce a power that is easier to apply for the noob and are intended to replace the 125 and there for should be viewed that way.

If you're going to buy a 250, get a brand new YZ250. I know it's a completely different kind of bike, but who cares.
I was rid'n mine last Sunday morning through the California desert. Ewwee, that scooter is slick. It's so light and got so much goose, but is smooth as a duck's butt. I'm still daydreaming about it.
But in reallity, that CRF250 is probably a super cool machine, maybe a little on the weak side, but super cool!
