I have a 2001 cr80 and the comression is about 118 is that a little low.....I'm loosing performance on the top half of the throttle (1/2 to full).  Replaces the reeds, cleaned the carb(bowl and top, as well as jetts)

We have yet to get anyone here to confirm what the compression of an 80/85 is. Mine was 140 when I tested it and there are no performance issues. My guess is you're a little low though.

I put a fresh topend in, and now at 148......that cured the problem.........
