I gotta say some of you fellas have lived it the hard way.  I've got next to nothing compared to you lot. About 15 years ago I was hooking logs on for a yarder and a log swung round and cleaned me up and tried to bend my knees backwards. I wore a knee brace for a year or so on my bike and was sweet after that.  Last year I was riding an enduro and clipped a pinetree and must have cracked a rib which didn't stop me doing anything but was just uncomfortable.  About 6 weeks ago I was playing at our club MX when I got highsided and cracked a couple more ribs.  This time it really hurt and the next few days I was pretty careful everytime I moved.  The morning after I could hardly walk.  Took about 4 weeks to get back on my bike.   All in all a drop in the ocean compared to some of you fellas.

I've been lucky riding,  no serious damage, or at least that I can remember.
I have some neat scars from life though. 70 stitches here, emergency plastic surgery there.

Well riding related,  I messed my leg up when i firts started riding,  i got cocky on my xl600r and lost it flew a good 50 feet.  mind you i had only ridin for maybe 2 months at that time, When i hit the ground i thought my leg was broken,  i stood up and it was just cocked to the right and still is to this day.  I was bein cocky on the same bike bout 8 months later did a fast wheely went into a barded wire fence goin bout 50ish,  it was a glancing blow so it tore me up till i hit the fence post,  broke my nose,  destroyed my forks, i was lucky if i didnt have my chest protector idk where id be right now.  Multiple high speed slide outs resulting in lost skin on both arms,  couple burns i feel down an 8 foot ledge in the ironman gncc and landed on the bikes headers.

not riding related.
Broken wrist,  Took a half inch conduit in the finger (not bad),  Was pounding 3/4 inch steaks in the groud with a 12 lbs sledge with one hand,  my hand was right behind the head of the hammer,  well the hammer slipped off the pipe,  and my finger took the full force,  im lucky to have the end of my finger that happened 3 weeks ago.

me and my old man are electricians,  ima first year and hes been in the local 28 years,  just the stories i hear,  guys getting crushed by lifts,  loosing body parts, my dads buddy was workin at a coal place and a piece of sheeting came off and took his arm.  plus all my journeymen have stories.  I went out on a shut down at us steel a 7-12 job,  the day i wasnt there an ironworker fell 20 feet and broke his legs an arm ribs head was crakced open.  and the job im at now an operator messedd and his bucket fell into a trench onto a laborer,  luckly he lived.  All i have to say is construction is a dangerous thing.
IBEW LOCAL 697 1st year apprentice,  fuels my passion of riding.

When i was about 9 i was at my dads wifes mothers house and me and my dad were riding their four wheelers. I was on a honda 250 4 stroke four wheeler and my dad was on a yamaha warrior. I was chasing him around the corner by a pond and the handle bars locked up and i was headed into a barbed wire fence and was going to fast to stop so i jumped off and some how hit the peg with my theigh and ripped t open. It was nasty!!! I could see what the inside of my leg looked like. I ended up getting like 51 stitches. M y mom was pissed!!! M y dad had the nurse call my mom because he was scared to tell her lol. I have also wrecked many times on bmx bikes.

SO what do be do guys  plz WEAR YOUR GEAR!!!!!!!!
