ya todd made another good point why i rode a pw80 is because when i was 7 my parents said i had to save 1/2 the money doing chores or helping my dad at work for a bike and my dad paid the other so a pw80 was what i could afford at the time but ya a kx60 or an rm65 i would have loved because those bikes have even better suspention and go even faster and are great at the tracks.

I wouldn't to a 60/65 unless your son is very agressive. i like the pw80 idea.

ok there is a big difference in price i am pretty sure from a ktm to a pw yamaha. OK i HAVE A TRAINER FOR MOTOCROSS and he has a son that rides around great on a ktm 50 with an FMF gold sieres pipe and he is only 4 so if you get him a ktm get him something bigger than a 50 i would recommend.

I am buying my boy a new bike also. He is about the same age, getting ready to be 7. He isnt big enough for a 65 yet, already took him out and done a "test fit". He is getting a xr50 maybe a crf50. He isnt real tall for his age either. I am figuring the 50 will do him for a year or 2 then move him up.
