I see most of the points on your views of the chatroom. Personally it would be more fun to talk to people in real time and get to know them. I wouldn't expect a tutorial to be written or given in a chat setting. The thread would still be there and would be the main attraction. I'll just stick to bugging you Vet's via PM's  For all the Florida riders I'll be down in Jacksonville soon. Hopefully some of us can meet up and go for a ride sometime.

The idea has merit, but I could see the board getting splintered a bit. Like most of the folks with full time jobs my time on the computer is limited. I'd be out of the loop even more than I am now if we went to chat rooms, but ya gotta keep pace with the future I guess.

i think its a good idea. gives us young people (pat,elko,me,kid,will) a form of communicating faster than the threads.

Yzwoods, yes I noticed, I was glad to see the "morning crew" thread when I got on. It was perfect. The weather is good now, mostly sunny, but it stormed it's butt off last night. For some reason ever since I've moved here to Alabama the thunder is super loud here! Crkid and whoisjohnlamb yes that is an artillery shell. I always try to get Navy stuff every chance I can. It's a 1945 5" Mark V 38 Cal. I have a tank shell casing too.
