crkid, if you could specify what is not clear i would appreciate it, because i have referred to the same manual to rebuild my entire engine, including splitting the case, and rebulding the head, i have used it for reference on electronics, rear shock rebuild, as well as front fork rebuilds with no issues, so if you could specify that would be great. i also have mic's for sale that can be used to measure cylinder or pistion diameter, for the manual specifies all proper mm/cm sizes for the service of every internal part of the motor
as for the platniu series, i just recently sold the only other extra oem pipe that i had, leaving me with only that, so i have to keep it in order to keep the bike in one piece, my apologies on that

also i will note that you do have to be somewhat mecanically inclined to refer to that manual, seeing as how it is the shop service manual.. it doesnt take much but you do have to know your way around a shop if you do plan on using it mechanically. otherwise it explains the entire breakdown and rebuild of the bike and all its components from plastics, to subframe to swing arm to wiring diagram, hose placement, it even gets as simple as to explain how to remove the masterlink from a chain. it has the piece by piece skematics for every aspect of the bike as well. if you can read and follow directions, your fine.

we are rebuilding a shock and when you put it back together it said something like put oil in the bladder and doesn't say anything about taking it out but somewhere else in there it talks about taking the nitrogen out of the bladder it says if there is oil in it to replace the bladder. Also there is a measurement of how much coolant the bikes holds that is wrong as it show the wrong size.

k300RM250: I'm sorry, but you can't just add up the prices (msrp or ebay for that matter) for the parts that you put on a bike and say that that is the value. For the most part, it doesn't matter what you do to a bike, as long as it is in good running condition, you are still only gonna get about blue book for it. The same goes for cars and trucks. You bring a pimped out ride to a dealership to sell or trade they are gonna give you the Blue Book price for it. They don't give a darn what you did to it. It usually makes them harder to sell anyway because they will have a smaller audience. The same goes for your bike. Yeah, you might have a bunch of sweet and expensive mods, but it does really increase its value, only makes people more or less interested in it. I understand your reason for putting it on here, and I see no problem with it, but you have to understand you can't add the prices for the parts you put on it into the value (at least not that much).
ditto

as for the coolant level.. if you notice there are 4 different numbers, 2 for '04, and two for after '04. at change, and at dissasembly. the proper one for 2004 at change, note it also gives you the conversion in liters and oz's. at change for 04 is 0.88 liters, and 0.930 oz's, the reason these numbers are different then the capacity which is the at dissassembly fill numbers, is because the hose's them self as well as the water pump retain fluid, and will not be accounted for unless it is completly drained. the numbers for dissasembly and fill capacity are 0.97 liter, and 1.025 us oz's. as or the bladder, on 12-14 it pretty much is giving you a maintance schedule of when to replace the bladder, hence when you have noticeable oil around the chamber cap which is what you will see when looking down into the bladder, its what surrounds the valve core. the damper rod is the inner rod within the shock that compresses, what i get from this is that by compressing that rod while holding the whole shock in a vise, it will pop out the chamber cap, thats what steps 1-6 on 12-15 are referring to, and the bladder within can not be removed until the chamber cap comes out, from there it looks as if you can just pull the bladder out. of you refer to 12-21 you will see a skematics of the rear shock, which pretty much explains the process in which things have to be removed. if that doesnt work for you, let me know and ill go do it on my spare shock and give you a lamen explanation of it, would be no problem if that doesnt help you, let me know.

actually, noting that you have an 05, you would want the numbers for the after 04' on the coolant numbers, my apologies.

( christwo@gmail.com ) tell me what u lookin to pay and we will work somethin out.
and yeah thats assuming jets arnt already stock to begin with.. id go back to stock and go from there, increase em gradually if u do, otherwise dependent on yer temperature and altitude id say run with stock unless its giving you problems, make sure your carb settings are all right also, air screw 2 turns out, needle clip on third ring from the top.
