Riding from check 4 to check 5 was my favorite section, the terrain varied from deep dark woods to rocky ledges as we climbed one mountain, then made our way to Upper Sunday Lake.  Here is the video

Here are two pictures of Upper Sunday Lake:

I went back and took some video footage of several riders climbing the rock ledges that lead into Upper Sunday Lake, will post all the camcorder video later.  But here is a picture of Taylor admiring the scenery at the lake:

Wish I could have been there, I might have just stayed up in the mountains and never came back.

They needed to cut down on weight so they could bring their beer coolers.

So we finally leave check #2 at Hidden Lake after filming several riders attempting to climb the hills and made our way to check #3.  We passed a couple atvs in the tight stuff, then at the end when I came upon the rest of the group at check 3 I was going too fast and layed it down so I wouldn't run into them!  Here is the video

Where is this vid at? I got to see this one!

Anyway Paul it looks like you had a ton of fun! Thanks for posting your adventure for us to see! Love the area, looks pretty challenging. Now get me the vid of you going down!

Wow, great looking scenery there. Those woods trails look like fun. And great job documenting it all, Paul.

Two videos have been lost in cyberspace.  Imovie tells me they have been published to youtube, but when I go to youtube they are not there.  I need to re-edit them and upload to youtube again.  I also have a video of Taylor laying it down in a corner while I was following him.  The trail was very slippery from the recent rains and fresh growing grass, so my usual stopping power was greatly reduced.

I also uploaded a video to Vimeo, but that failed during the night.  (sigh).  It's going to take FOREVER to post all the movies at this rate...
