Have already turned air screw and still cant get it. I have taken the idle screw and turned it and does nothing even taken it all the way out while running and dosent stall. What do I need to do?

it sounds like the slide in your carb is sticking. this can be caused by a couple of things, your throttle cable is pinched somewhere, if you have a return cable that could pinched as well. if you dont have a return cable then i assume it has a return spring inside the carb, and that could be sticking. your throttle cable could also be sticking on the inside of the cable because it is old. i would check your throttle cable, make sure its nice and smooth, put some lube in it or replace it if its old, spraying some carb cleaner in it wouldnt hurt either.

hmmm my bike does that....if I rev it really high while idling it takes a bit for it to drop back down....I figured it was normal but you're saying my pilot is lean?

I'd say at least 5 seconds maybe 8 seconds. I've never actually timed it....I just try not to rev it that high in idle LOL

I have the same bike as DT_Jason and mine does it to.Some times it will get stuck at high rpm's and you have to go to a higher gear to slow it down. One time I had this happen and it wouldn't shut down so I had to dump the clutch and go into wall.I believe it's my reeds.

That can also be the sign of an air leak (which makes an overly lean idle).  It will most affect idle (occasionally will cause a run-away idle where you have to hit kill switch if its bad enough).

Check the rubber manifold boot between the carb and cylinder for cracks etc.
