Hi all,
Just thought I would share a few photo's of a National Round held today at AJS in Western Australia.
Some brilliant riders, track was sandy and technical but fast.

Well went out today and road a sand motocross track here in Perth for the first time ever!! I joined up as a member in February but never had the guts to go out. Well today I did, I managed 8 laps dropped it twice while trying to take corners too slow in powder sand ankle deep. Anyhow, quite chuffed that I accomplished it. Boy it takes it out of you. It was quite rough with massive sand woops from weekend racing.
There were about 10 guys there too and they were nice enough to stay off the track while I rode, not sure I enjoyed the crowd but they gave me thumbs up for trying.
PS Note to self...falling off in sand is better than rock hard tracks...

Yes it's quoted as being one of the hardest tracks to ride in Western Australia. Some love sand, some don't..... the jury is still out with my thoughts.

Nice foxgirl, dont know how I missed this one.
That track dose look sandy. Im the same way, sometimes I like it and sometimes not. I like it most when I go down.lol

Hey fellow riders,
Just thought I would post up a pic of today's ride with a friend of mine. Had a great day riding, it was a beautiful day in Perth.
Had a real fun day riding, the track was slippery and quite rough but weirdly enough I enjoyed it and went faster.

The pic dont come up for me but sounds like a nice day.
I was in Perth once for 10 days.
My wife works for Amcor which is headquartered in Australia. I told her if she has to take a trip there I want to go.
Do they rent bikes over there?

Not sure on bike rentals but I am sure if you visit we may be able to get someone to borrow you one to ride.
It wasn't too cold or too hot here today and it rained yesterday so the track was awesome, grippy in some areas and slippery in others. Trying to download a video but it may take a while.
