Hard to start when warm??

I have a 1997 Cr250 R. Its starts first or second kick when cold. But yesterday while riding I was having a hell of a time starting it when I stopped to have a break
What could be the problem?? Spark plug??

Are you twisting the throttle while kicking?

Yeah when the bike is hot you need to give it gas while kicking no choke.

So i went riding last night. First kick, it started. But when I took a few breaks and turned off the bike, it was hell trying to start it again. I tried using the throttle but with no luck. It took forever to start up again. When it is running, it runs great, pulls hard as hell. Now what do I do??

Check your compression.

Check your plug as well when it's hot see what it reads. And did you twist while kicking?
