fixing the flat tire problem

I'm a engineering student and its time to do my senior project. I've been in the enduro racing world for a long time and as long as I can remember flats have been a problem.
I'm working on a stand that is light weight, folds up, and fits in a fender bag. My question for all of you is would this be something you buy and use. I know most riders carry Co2 to fill a flat but if you are not near your friends during a race or just out riding its hard to find something to prop your bike on when you have to replace a tube. My thought is if you had this stand it would make it a lot easier to change it.
Please give me your thoughts by either replying here or sending me an e-mail at christinaaperkins@gmail.com.

well idk about on the trail.... i just lay mine over on its side.. but for the racers who dont have enough room or for people like me who stuff 3 bikes in a nissan hard body that want a stand it would be a great idea if it wasnt exorbadantly priced...

I just wanted to make sure I get as many opinions as I can and most people do not read all the categories, just the ones that pertain to them.
Please either give your opinion or don't comment.
Thank you
