: I rode a KTM 400...
Yesssssssssssss!
jk- glad you had fun no matter what you rode. I also hit the track for the first time this year and even though I was intimidated, I still had a lot of fun and will def go back after the kids go back to school.

Hair I just read your thread on a 250F. For the track it would be a better bike IMO than your XC-W. And same goes for Courtney as well. BTW, PaulB14 = Paul

Hi alex. I think your best training will be on a track with other racers. Don't expect to be a shoe-in the first time out. If you lower your expectations you will have more fun IMO. One of my all-time favorite races involved dicing it out for 5th place! There is nothing wrong with the training you're getting now, but believe me, there is nothing that compares to the real thing...

I can see 'em now. Damn, you look like you're ready for the WMX. Are you sure that was your first time? Nice ride too.

Actually 5 feet is really good for a first time. I'm not sure I even get 5 feet of air yet. The key is that you liked it and now you have whole new riding places opened up to you in the form of tracks.
