Hair--i LOVED the KTM...I really love their bikes.  The motor is just so smooth and tame...the suspension was almost perfect for me too.  I really liked this 400 in particular just because it was basically the right amount of power; not too much, and evenly spaced.  Some of the full sized bikes I've ridden feel gappy between the low gears and high gears, and this one wasn't.  My only complaint, it was a tad tall--if i were riding it in technical trails, I might have slight issues...but I think if I had a different/shaved seat it would solve that.

I think if you get some boots like Gene Simmons you will have no problem touching. Shifting is another story.
