suzuki ds80 clutch help?

i recently broke my clutch lever on my ds80. i ordered a new ASV unbreakable clutch lever. now i cant figure out how to give the stock clutch cable slack so i can insert it into the ASV perch. can anyone help me out?

cut down the fly adjuster so it can be screwed into the perch with a flathead screwdriver. It wont be adjustable up top anymore but you can adjust it down below on the clutch cable clamp that bolts to the crankcase.

it never was adjustable. i cant figure out how to remove this damn cable from the perch its very frustrating. ive tried pulling on the cable with a pliers and it doesnt budge i tried moving the arm on top of the crank case. it moved but i couldnt hold it in place.

Pull the pin that holds the end of the cable on the crankcase. Or unbolt the lever on the perch and pull out the end of the cable on the lever. Thats how to remove it.

well i got it removed and i installed the ASV F3 series clutch lever. the old stock clutch lever did not have a cable adjuster. the ASV does. now when i put it in gear it doesnt even move or die when i let go of the clutch. any advice?
