how do you grease the steering do you have to take it off? Or can you put grease right around it?

take your forks off, bars off, pull the steering stem a and grease the uper and lower bearing in your steering stem, its easy, and it helps to do this stuff.
Tighten your levers clean the hinges adn lube them that helps a lot with hand cramp and really eases your grips.
check your wheel bearings.
six, let air out of forks on a regualr basis, they sell pressure release valves for $20.

what do you mean when you say clean the hinges and lube them?

the part of the bolts in the levers that move when you pull them. clean them and lube them, they take a lot of wear and tear cause they are consitently getting pulled from using your break and clutch

oh you mean the bolts that hold the front brake, and the clutch.
