We just called PG Sports and they asked about the seal for the top of the carb and then they asked about the but for the reed valve and come to think of it theres tiny little cracks all over the but or however you spell it. That could be my problem on where the wetness and dirt and air is getting in to my carb, and also for the fouling plugs problem as well. Does this sound like this was my problem all a long? Ok, we just took it off and there isn't that much cracks but theres a couple small ones but we put a flashlight on it and it doesn't go through because the rubber is very hard and good so my dad thinks we don't need a new one, but we're going in the garage now to put it back on and seal it a little better.

Those cracks WILL get worse as it is dry rot. Hit with some WD-40 and wipe off. I would clean out your air box well, And check your air filter seal as well! Good luck Josh.

WD-40 is to take oil and such off what good will that do? I put some good duck tape around it for now but i ordered a new boot. I will not be driving cause it also needs a new throttle cable. How can i clean the air box without getting dirt or water down the intake that leads to the carb?

Not what i ment, I men't to say spray and wipe off to clean. Thats why i said wipe off. then Apply like hot shot, or black out to nuture the hard rubber. And just put a rag in the air box hole and clean out the box. And make sure the filter is grease sealed.

I use grease for my chain that's what it's for and it works really good on my chain as well. I m not sure what kind of grease i would have to ask my dad.
