My buddy bought a 91' KTM 250 awhile back. We can't find parts for it anywhere, online, dealerships here in BC etc. We need a head gasket and possibly a top end rebuild. The dealers say they can't get parts because thats prior to when they imported the bikes. Kick start is on the left! (Damn hard to kick over) lol. So anyways any help out there in DR land?

It seems like you need a 94 or newer to find parts. We will have to ask a KTM guy like Paul if he knows of anywhere.

I have an atk. atk and ktm both used rotax engines in the 90's. ktm stopped in i wanna say 95? 94 maybe. atk still uses rotax for some of their bikes. they still make parts. if you can find out if it says rotax on it i can get you some contact info for some places that sell rotax parts. paul is probably riding.

You can try KTM Hutt and KTM World websites. My boyfriend has a '95 KTM that we have a hard time finding parts for and those are the only two websites we've had luck with.
Not sure if they go as far back as '91, you might have to call and check if its not on the site. But KTM Hutt is one of our faves, a great company and very easy to deal with.

If you have a left hand kick , it is older than 1990 model year as ALL 250-300-360 ktm's have right hand kick starters, if you are still sure of the year try 1995 or 1996 parts from your local dealer 500paul PS i have most of a left hand kick engine in my garage

I had the same problem when i had a 97 husaberg. husaberg wasnt bought by ktm till 97 so the first husabergs to have readily accessable parts were 98's. Ur local ktm, or gas gas, or husaberg, what ever ur local dealer of euro bikes is should be able to get the parts. I couldnt find the parts for my husaberg when it blew ANYWHERE but my dealer had contacts and could order them. one word of caution be warned it might be very very VERY costly. If i were you i would do my research and find out if new bikes parts will fit your bike....
