No Baja 2009

While the AS IS Race team were promised or received enough money to run the Baja 1000 we did not receive enough to race it right or do the creative project for Autism Speaks.  Rather than drag this out 4 more months and waste any more time we are not going.  
Instead we are going to start our trek to Baja 2010 at the Glen Helen 24hr endurance race.  We are going to run the same team, but if anyone else want to take part the cost would be approx. $80 per person for fuel and entry fee.  
We hope to have at least 2 teams present with joining pits.  We want to film a short DVD to give to potential sponsors.
We have at least one broadcast quality camera (Cannon xl) and we also want to take some action photographers of both teams.    
No, I don't know when to stop, If I don't give my mind something to do it starts chewing on the furniture.

This will be a great time guys and gals, grueling but of course worth it. If you are interested PLEASE let us know so we can put together some solid information to put together for sponsors and also make sure that if you decide to go that YOU are there when the time comes. I hope to see alot of you there or at least anyone who can make it. this also goes for the east coasters, if you can get there whether flight or car we would love to have you.

Well I must say that I am sorry the Baja didn't work out this year Dag! It was for a great cause and would have been an awsome story!

I spoke with my friend about going out there to do the 24hr and he is interested, so give me some more time to see if I can't get it confirmed. Would love to get out there and finally meet you.

By the way isn't the Devout Racing suppose to look like this? HAHAHA
