Suzuki rmz-450 2009 information

Hello,

I want do buy Suzuki rmz-450 2009. I doubt on suzuki because i have heard some roumors that suzuki isn't good bike, like i have heard that the suzuki has bad gearbox (it has weak gearbox what breaks all the time). Thats why i have turned into you, who has rmz 450 2009 model suzuki, write everything what you think about the bike and do i should buy the bike? What it's typical problems and do it has still weak gearbox or it has fixed.  

I dont think anyone on this forum has the rmz450. Maybe one of the editors will see this and lend some info on it.

A genius mechanic I know (not chud) says he likes the honda 450's better as he thinks they have a better overall finish.  His son rides a rmz250 and he has found issues with that bike, that he hasn't found on the honda 450...sorry can't remember if he has a 450r or a 450x....

And it may be unfair to compare the rmz250 to the 450's....I am assuming that the rmz250 and the rmz450 are compatible bikes, and they very well may not be.

The 08 had some kickstarter problems that caused the gear to twist and break the cases, but Suzuki had all the 08 cases replaced with the 09 ones. As far as I know, the 08's with the 09 motor and the 09 are the exact same besides graphics and VIN.  

Has anybody else some information or not for suzuki rmz450 2009 model? Thanks for all replys.  

Pin it basically said it all, they've fixed the problems from 08, one of my buddies has the 08 and races every weekend and hasn't had anything break, also he won the series for his class on it as well And from what I've read they turn and handle corners better than the other bikes.
