sounds pretty good. Just to get a measure of the power, it would be very close to a 500 sport ATV. Hope this helps, and welcome to DR!

YUP. And welcome to the board. Just know that this power is going to be different on a bike and take your time.

I agree with zack - you'll be fine as long as the quads you've ridden were manual (clutch). If they were auto, you'll have a bit of a learning curve, but nothing insurmountable. Good luck and let us know which bike you get!

welcometo the board bro!!! a 125 is a perfect starter bike to get the hang of it. i am 15yrs old 6'0 ft tall andf i ride a 250 and i can handle my dad's 426 so that 125 is a full size bike so thats going to work perfect IMO for you. and like said if you have used clutch on quads you will be fine and whats funny is you will be suprised at the power difference what i am saying is the power to wieght ratio. quads are just so heavy they need a big engine to move them. dirt bikes are so light that a 125 cc 2 stroke dirt bike can probly keep up with a banshee. thats whats so cool about bikes. but i have rode qauds before and its so fun to slide them around turns and stuff.

I have a DVX400 quad and a CRF250R (simular to ktm 125 in speed) and my 250 can easily beat the 400 in a drag. If you ride utility 4 wheelers tho, it's gonna be REALLY different.
