this may sound like a stupid question but...

on my rmz250 (08 model) there is know dipstick or oil level window so i dont know how much oil to put in??

i asked the mechannic and he said put a litre in....but only 500 ml came out when i took the old oil out.

the mechanic also said to keep putting oil in until it comes out of a hole (this is how u check how u put in)...but the oil comes straight out after about 100ml-200ml has gone in.

this is all confusing and annoying, could anyone explain how much oil i put in??

A service manual is your best reference for these questions.

did u drain all of the old oil out? what kind of oil is this? it should be stamped by the check bolt on the case. but anyhoo, the capacity is a litre your right. make sure all old oil is drained (remove cap, remove bolt, remove check bolt even, tilt bike, forward and side to side) make sure u warm the bike up for about 4 or 5 minutes, warm oil flows easier. then let us know wut happens

OK, I've got the 07, same thing but brakes and bling, you undo the two drain plug bolts, and oil strainer cover bolt, and remove strainer, clean it up, and wait for all of the oil to drain, I usually let it sit overnight, once thats all done put new crush washers on the two drain plug bolts and put them back in, look at the strainer cover bolt washer and replace it if it looks worn (it's copper so it lasts a couple of changes)once there all done, put one liter of oil in it like your mechanic said, if you look on the oil filter cover it says 1000mL, and as for oil to use in it I use and so did the last owner, and Suzuki recommends it, is 10W40 Motul 300V, the most expensive stuff. If you say only 500mL came out, how many hours did you have on the bike before changing it? who changed it last? it does have a check hole, but Suzuki doesn't do the "it must have this exact amount" thing like say honda, the check bolt is an allen key bolt like your drain plug #2 bolt and requires you replace the crush washer as well when you remove it, it is on the left side of you clutch cover and you have to either take off the brake pedal to get at it, or do what I do and push it down as hard as you can to get it, and your checking for flow, if theres little or no oil flow, add in say 100mL and see where it is. be careful with these bolts though! they strip incredibly easily.
