PRO-X are basically OEM replacement so it is a good piston. The are cast where as wiseco are forged.
Without getting into a lot of detail on the advantages cast and forged here is the basics: -cast are easy to break in and don't require the bike to be warm up a long time before each ride that is why the oem's use them. The big disadvantage is that if your bike detonates it can crack or blow the top off a cast piston.
-Forge pistons withstand detonation very well, but require you to warm them up before each ride.

Yeah i would def go with the wiseco, I run one in my 520 and it been in there for over a year and the bike starts easy and still oozes power, i believe the wiseco is roughly 60 bucks more, its well worth it. Forged is better than cast imo, and hey whats waiting a few mins before you ride to let the motor warm up.

yeah you need a rebuild. If its lacking the power, the top end is shot. Id go with the Wiseco.
