2001-2 Yz250f PROBLEMS!!!

i bought a 250f the other day from a guy and i rode it and when i deeaccelerate it pops and backfired so i thought a jet was clogged so i took the carbeurator apart and cleaned the MESS out of it with brake parts cleaner cuz i was out of carb cleaner and i put all jets in the same places and tightened regularly and hooked everything up like the manual says and i try to crank it up and it wont even try to bust off ive tried chokin it and not chokin it ive tried hot start. nothing workS!!!.. has new gas in it and it gets to the carb just fine.. the only thing i havent done is changed the plug.. but if that doesnt work then what do i need to do people?? Please Inform me!!!!!

make sure your air filter isn't clogged up

Look for a air and a exhaust leak.

No. The next thing you should do in check your valve clearence.

Brad-O, I agree with POP. Either have a dealer or someone with some four stroke experience check ur valve clearance.
If u want to do it urself shoot me a PM I can walk u through it.
