if u get a smaller front sproket does it give u more power in the low end? or, if u get a bigger front sproket will it give u more top end??

Sprockets don't give you more power anywhere.  What they do is trade top speed for acceleration or visa versa.  

Think of the gears on a bicyle.  If you switch to a bigger gear on the front sprocket it becomes harder to peddle, but you can go a lot faster once up to speed.  Still your legs have to push harder for that speed.  When you go to a smaller sprocket peddling is a lot easier but your not going that fast either.  But the one thing you did not change was how much power your legs can put out or how they put out that power.  It is the same with your motorcycle.
