i bought the elements for my first pair of boots,i got three good seasons out of em tough as nails, ive got the tech 3s from alpinestars not impressed same with berik(there seeling real cheap cause there out of the dirt biking world)theres a line of oneal thats a step above the element not sure what there called.or rocky mountain mc has a brand A.R.C. they have a pair of boots that look like alot top quality features for a high priced entry level boot about $180.00.i personaly like rocky mountain there brands are really good for the cash like tusk tools and parts and im sure their gear is just as durable.

I've tried the Elements, Flys, Foxes and Quadrants but I'm a diehard A'stars fan now. I've had two pairs of Tech 8's and one pair of Tech 3's. One of the Tech 8's never broke in just right so that goes to show that every pair of boots is different, no matter who manufactures them. You'll have to find a brand that works for you. The sizes are a bit different as well, so if you have a store where you can try a few pairs on it's be a big help. Good luck.

I wantd to buy a pair of Gaerne boots but I did not know how the sizes ran. I have been getting one size bigger than my foot size and that has worked in the past. Can I use this method as well with these Boots?

I have the Garene SG-10. I wear a size 10 regular shoes and the size 10 Garene fits snugly, but comfortably. If you have a wide foot, or wear a 10 and a half I would suggest moving up to an 11 in the boots.
