You would be running rich.  What happened?

hey joe, welcome to the forum.  I don't think you can ruin anything in your engine by runnin gwith the choke on.  I did this once by accident and the bike ran real rich until the plug fouled, as mentioned by others, but no harm done.  I just slapped myself in the head, changed the plug and been good to go since...

Yeah it just runs rich.  I dont have a 2 stroke so im not sure what happens exactly but when i did it my bike just kept cutting out and wouldnt start good after it was warm.  your all good.  Also just fyi if you have a hot start lever u can do the opposite and make a bike run insanly lean.  i was workin on my carb an when i put everything back together i managed to pull the hot start cables out and pulled them taught i thought i messed up my carb,  the bike was screamin and back firing horribly.  but its all cool now
