I would check out some DG pipes as well. They tend to make some pipes/silencers for older bikes like ours than pc or fmf won't. If you get any used pipe thats banged up (or the original if you still have it), you can always send it off to a place like pacific crest pipe repair and get it near perfect for 60 bucks or so. good luck

yeah, thats what i meant by aftermarket in my post, there was supposed ot be a comma between fmf and aftermarket, ive read up on dg and i guess dynoport makes one as well as some others, i dont have the stock pipe anymore and my procircuit one right now when i got it was total rust so it got thin and blew a crack through it.

both pro curciut and FMF offer their 2 stroke line for older bikes. i have a fatty/power core on my 88 cr 250r. for a 125 i would check out the PC works. both also offer an asortment of race and usfs approved silencers. including the newest models such as the Q line.

That's cool, I didn't know they were doing that. I thought I just got in under the wire with my PC pipe on my cr because I didn't see it in the catalogs anymore. It's good to know guys with older bikes aren't s.o.l when it comes to upgrades. Although I'm having trouble finding a pc or fmf silencer for my year.

new ones are listed..
ebay stores
you can also start searching craigslist at different cities for used ones.
87 to 89 should be the same pipes.
